Personal:

• Born & raised In Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
• Attended St. Stanislaus Kostka Grade School, Graduated James M. Coughlin High School in 1966, and attended Wilkes College, all in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
• Moved to Somerville NJ in 1969 and currently resides there.

• 1974 to 1977 – Bookkeeper/woodworker, Alpha Enterprises, Middlesex, N. J.
• June 1977 to May 2003 – Somerset Valley YMCA, Somerville, N. J.
• Began my YMCA career as Bookkeeper and ended as Associate Executive Director. During my 26 year tenure at the SVYMCA I held various positions such as Business Manager, Front Desk Supervisor, Membership Director, Comptroller, and Director of Finance & Personnel.
• I worked closely with the Board of Directors, Finance Committees, Personnel Committees and staff. I prepared operating, capital and United Way Budgets. I computerized the business office. I supervised staff including the reception, office and bookkeeping staff, payroll and maintenance staff. I also supervised the personnel department while I held the title of Associate Director; I managed the day to day operations of the Somerville and Bridgewater facilities while the executive Director established the Hillsborough Facility.
• I served as interim Executive Director/CEO for approximately 6 months while the Board of Directors conducted the search for a CEO to replace the Executive Director who had retired.
• When the new CEO was chosen, I stayed on for approximately 2 years to help with the transition and in April of 2003 took an early retirement for the SVYMCA.
• Decided to start JCK Services in November of 2005.
• Earned YMCA Senior Director Status in 1985, completed the
• American Management Assoc. Essentials of Management, Management Principles course in 1986; completed the YMCA Executive Development Programs in 1994; Recognized as an Outstanding Business Person by the Somerset Cty. Chamber of Commerce in 1997.
• Currently a member of AIPB (American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers) www.aipb.org
• I offer Notary Public services.

• Currently serving 1st year of 3rd term as a Elected Council person in the Borough of Somerville. Responsibilities on Somerville Borough council include serving as Police Commissioner, Liaison to the Somerville District Management Corporation (DMC), www.findsomerville.com, Somerville Recreation Commission., and Somerville Board of Education. www.somervillenj.org I have also been a member of the committees that were formed to find an executive director for the DMC and in the hiring of the Police Chief. I am currently working on the negotiating committee for employment contracts for PBA , AFSME and OPEIU Borough Employee Unions.
• Member Somerville Kiwanis Club since 1995. Served as club President from 1997 to 1998 served as Secretary/Treasurer. Served 2000 and as District Lt. Governor from October 1999 to June of 2000.
• Member of the Facilities 2003 committee of the Board of Education.
• Served on the Somerville Youth Commission.
• Member of the Board of Directors Somerset Valley YMCA.
